Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of 100% permanent hair removal. It works by targeting and destroying the hair follicle so that hair can no longer grow back.
A tiny probe is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle, and a small amount of energy is applied. This energy destroys the follicle’s ability to regrow hair, making the results truly permanent.
Yes! Tattoo ink sits in a different layer of the skin, so it does not lighten, fade, or distort your tattoo. You might notice the skin looking a little pink afterward (normal), but the tattoo itself is not affected. You can NOT do laser over your tattoos, electrolysis only.
Electrolysis is priced in 15-minute increments and the cost depends on how much hair you have and how sensitive you are to the sensation. Your budget and how often you can come also play a role in creating a treatment plan. Some areas clear quicker, while others need more time in the beginning and less as the hair thins out. Because everyone’s needs are different, the most accurate way to know your expected timing and cost is through a free consultation. You can book a complimentary consult through my online link.

Yes. Electrolysis has been safely used for over 100 years. When performed by a licensed electrologist, it is a safe and effective way to achieve permanent hair removal on all skin tones and hair types.
Electrolysis can be performed almost anywhere unwanted hair grows, including the face, underarms, bikini area, chest, back, and more.
Electrolysis is the only method recognized by the FDA for permanent hair removal. Laser hair removal may reduce hair growth but is not always permanent and can be less effective on lighter hair colors. Many people also experience adverse effects with laser, especially those with hormonal imbalances, which can sometimes cause the hair growth to worsen. For this reason, many clients turn to electrolysis after laser, since electrolysis works on all hair colors and skin types and delivers truly permanent results.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, will result in a fee. If you arrive late to your appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the time missed will be counted toward your appointment. This ensures fairness to all clients and helps keep the schedule running smoothly.
Electrolysis can be performed on benign (non-cancerous) moles, but only with written clearance from a medical professional. Because moles involve pigmented skin and can carry medical risks, we require a doctor’s note confirming that the mole is safe to treat before any electrolysis is performed in that area.
No Electrologist can answer that. Since hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are necessary to achieve full permanent hair removal. Consistency is key , regular sessions will allow us to target hairs at the right stage of growth for the best results.

I do not accept insurance; however, I can provide a superbill upon request. You can submit this to your insurance company to see if they offer reimbursement for electrolysis services.
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick warmth or slight stinging ranging from 3/4 out of 10. Discomfort levels vary from person to person, but treatments are generally very tolerable, especially compared to the ongoing irritation of shaving or waxing and just having the hair.
Yes! Unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis is effective on all hair colors (including blonde, gray, red, and white) and on all skin tones.
Yes. Once a hair follicle is properly treated with electrolysis, it will not produce hair again. This is why electrolysis is considered the gold standard for permanent hair removal.
After electrolysis, you may notice temporary redness or swelling, which is temporary. Keeping the skin clean, avoiding heavy makeup on the treated area, and protecting it from sun exposure will support the healing process.
